Design agencies WT Interactive and Claessens Erdmann architects & designers are collaborating under the name NieuweVaart. NieuweVaart aims to meet the growing need for companies and organizations to translate their brand, products, or services into meeting places for customers, partners, and employees. The agencies combine their expertise: WT Interactive in interactive storytelling and Claessens Erdmann in designing brand environments.
Today, this was announced during the event "How to engage in the digital age" at the new Visitor Center at Boskalis headquarters in Papendrecht. An event about experience design and the importance of physical interaction in an era of increasing digitalization. The Boskalis Visitor Center is also a joint project of the agencies.
The increasing digitalization offers endless possibilities for interaction with each other. This requires a different way of looking at the physical work environment where we meet colleagues, clients, and partners. It has taken on a new role, as the place for meeting, inspiration, innovation, and engagement. What role do you give to this as an organization? And how do you also make use of technology here to facilitate meeting and interaction? " This is what we want to contribute to with NieuweVaart,' says Hans Preeker (partner Claessens Erdmann). Wouter Moll (partner WT Interactive): 'What binds us? Thinking from users, from brands, and where physical space and interactive storytelling come together. This can be about meeting places in offices such as at Boskalis, but also about standalone brand experience centers, for example. And what literally binds us is the canal 'Nieuwe Vaart' in Amsterdam. Our offices are (from July 1, 2023) practically next to each other on this water. Hence the name’.
WT interactive is a creative agency based in Amsterdam that develops interactive storytelling concepts for international and leading brands with a focus on experience centers, retail, and events. Customer stories are translated into audiovisual experiences to bridge the gap between the customer and the brand. Both online and offline. Expertise in interactive concepts, intuitive interface design, and high-end content form the basis of the agency. The agency works for clients such as Shimano, Fujifilm, Sligro Food Group, Hitachi, Friesland Campina, Moët Hennessy, Feadship, Capgemini, and Jacobs Douwe Egberts.
Claessens Erdmann is an interior architecture firm specialized in designing brand environments. From a strong focus on brand and corporate strategy combined with expertise in human behavior, the firm designs interiors for retail, hospitality, leisure, work environments, and places where these come together. The agency is based in Amsterdam and works for national and international clients such as Nike, Foot Locker, AFAS Software, Holland Casino, Sligro Food Group, AS Watson, and the Frans Hals Museum.
